Sossusvlei and the Dead vlei

Everyone talks about Soussusvlei but before you get there is the Dead Vlei. Much more spectacular and stunningly beautiful. There is even a Lost Vlei next to it I hear but didn't know at the time which is supposed to be even more stunning. Just a few tips for anyone planning on going that way. There is a short drive you would need a 4x4 for but if you don't have don't stress as there are 4x4 game viewing cars to give you a lift there and back for R100 per person. They must make a fortune wow.

I have also included some other sand dunes in the same area for you to enjoy.

While waiting for our lift at Soussusvlei we saw an Eagle Owl fast asleep in the tree above us. Another tip is when you walk up these dunes, take water and when at the top take off your socks and shoes roll them down the side and walk down the side of the dune bare foot. It's an amazing feeling.

Hello, anyone out there???

Yay we found a place with wifi!!! Since crossing the boarder I've had no data as the little shops just aren't geared that way but as soon as we get to a big town that will be sorted :-)))
Since my last update we,ve done over 1000 km and still married lol. Our first night in Namibia was on the Orange River at the Felix Adventures campsite. There was grass for our tent, cold beers and a great Resturant. Not bad at R130 each for the night. We then stopped at The Road House for the best burger ever on our way to Ai Ais. We stopped for some breath taking views at the Fishriver Canyon before reaching Ai Ais. That was also fantastic with lovely campsites and warm springs. We spent 2 nights there and Dave squeezed in a 22 and 10km run.
Now were at Aussenkehr back on the Orange River.. Beautiful here but the flies all seem to be sitting on and bugging Dave.
The beer and hunters is great so......cheers :-)
