Pack it all in with a micro update.....

Limited time at Vic Falls means limited time on my iPad as there's just too much to fit in to a few days. It was great having special friends to share the experience with and boy was it an experience :-)
We arrived on Friday just after lunch and John and Sally flew in not too long after. They had to register for the marathon on the Sunday so we did a little sight seeing too. Dinner at Elephant Hills where we were staying and golf early in the morning. We were all in the prizes, hence my new safari hat ha ha ha ;-) From then on it was go go go. We walked in the rain Forrest with the most magic view of the falls. The spray was as hard as Cape Town rain at times. We went for dinner at The Boma and played bongo drums. I even jumped off a cliff into the gorge dropping 75 or so meters before swinging. It's the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced for sure. High Tea at the Victoria Hotel, elephant rides and surprise Dave also rode lol. Finishing off with dinner at the Safari Lodge, wow such a magic experience. We had the most awesome sundowner boat cruise with all drinks included, so Dave and John got to know know the bar very well :-))) Sadly we had to say goodbye to Vic Falls this morning and start our 2500 km trek home. Dave drove about 600 km today and you'll see a pic of the road to the Pandametenga boarder. We weren't sure it was even still in operation with the condition of thee Zim road. It took over 2 hours to travel a very short distance. Even the elephants weren't too happy to see us as I'm sure they don't see cars often. So we're in Botswana now and heading back into SA tomorrow or early Friday. Chat to you all soon :-))
